Our Parish

HISTORY

The vision for St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church began in the 1980s when a small group of devoted faithful aspired to establish a spiritual home—a place where the Orthodox Christian faith could flourish in their community.

Over the past 25 years, St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church has grown into a thriving spiritual home, now serving more than 400 families. As a parish of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, it operates under the guidance of His Eminence Metropolitan Sevastianos of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Atlanta, a Holy Eparchy of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.

In recent years, the parish has experienced remarkable growth, expanding from 300 to 430 families within just three years. More than 100 children actively participate in youth ministries, reflecting the church’s commitment to fostering faith and community across generations.

Located at 7100 Airport Road North, at the northeast corner of Airport-Pulling Road and Orange Blossom Drive, St. Katherine’s welcomes all who seek faith, fellowship, and service. As the parish continues to grow, it remains a beacon of Orthodox Christian life, embracing the future while honoring its rich heritage.
